NAMI TAKAHASHI 高橋奈己 CV

The crisp edges and undulating forms of Nami’s pieces create rhythms of light and shade that are unparalleled in their beauty. Fruits consistently provide motifs for her works, which are predominantly asymmetrical, resulting from a time-consuming process in which multiple components are individually slip-cast.

I am attracted to the beautiful lines and forms of seeds, berries and flower buds in the natural world. With the help of white porcelain, a material that is sharp and has a soft whiteness, I aim to create beautiful and dignified forms.
